We’re excited to share with you that Prepared Foods magazine has awarded Manitou Trading Company’s Porcini Risotto second place in the retail category of the 12th annual Spirit of Innovation Awards.

Manitou Trading Company’s Porcini Risotto is one of three winning products selected from a field of 52 entrants. Manitou will also be recognized in a feature article in the October 2014 issue of the magazine.

Implemented in 2003, the Spirit of Innovation Awards are designed to recognize prepared food product development teams for excellence in creating and bringing to market innovative new products. The winners are acknowledged for each step of the R&D process: from ideation and development to design, creation and launch of the product.

In addition, Manitou Trading Company’s Porcini Risotto has also been chosen as “Editor’s Pick” for Best New Product of 2014 by The Gourmet Retailer magazine, which you’ll find featured in the current August/September 2014 issue.
