Risotto is a marvelous culinary expression of Italian cuisine combining the wholesomeness of rice with quality flavorings and spices. The secret to excellent risotto resides in Arborio, high-starch, short-grain rice that absorbs cooking liquids to achieve a creamy overall texture with individual grains remaining pleasingly separate and al dente.

The unique, attentive cooking technique needed to create risotto is almost as legendary as its cloudlike, creamy texture. Dedicating time to cook this renowned dish the traditional way can be daunting. We’ve created seasoned rice blends that not only produce outstanding risotto with just a quick stir, but combine cherished all-natural flavors in a carefully measured mix.

We blended our premium Arborio with herbs, spices and vegetables to create three all-in-one, ready-to-cook blends of iconic risotto flavors. Butternut Squash Risotto is a ready-mixed classic risotto alla zucca, in which cooked pieces of butternut squash complement the delicate, creamy texture. Porcini Funghi Risotto spotlights the rustic and elegant flavor of porcini and shitake mushrooms. Spinach Florentine Risotto gains color and flavor from flakes of spinach, as well as shaved Parmesan cheese.

We combine our parboiled white rice with the essential “Holy Trinity” of Cajun and Creole cuisine — celery, bell peppers and onions — for our Cajun Dirty Rice. Our version is a mildly spiced, cayenne-accented vegetarian rice blend that appeals to many palates. We designed this blend with versatility and full flavors in mind to be enjoyed as is or used as a base for traditional Cajun and Creole dishes.

We use pure saffron, an essential paella spice with exceptional, unique flavor to lend our Paella Rice a wonderful golden yellow hue. We add other premium paella herbs, spices and aromatics including garlic, onion, Aleppo chile pepper, paprika and turmeric for a complex cook-and-enjoy blend.

Our Spiced Moroccan Couscous is a delicate mix of seasoned semolina pasta pearls and robust Moroccan spices. This couscous is flavored with Ras El-Hanout, a proprietary combination of spices that varies from region to region like the curries of the Far East, featuring turmeric, dried chiles, orange peel and mustard.
