Job’s Tears, also known as “Asian barley,” are in the grass family, closely related to corn. Long known for their medicinal qualities, these ancient grains are packed with protein, amino acids, fiber, vitamins and minerals. Try using Job’s Tears in soups, breakfast cereal and salads.

Bring 3 cups of salted water to a boil, and add 1 cup of Job’s Tears. Cover and reduce heat to a simmer. Cook for 45-60 minutes. Drain any excess water. Let sit for 10 minutes before serving.
