A rediscovered ancient grain from the Andes kingdoms of the Incas, our Red Quinoa brings the nutty flavor and wholesome, whole-grain nutrition of quinoa to your table. Our Red Quinoa is a good source of complete proteins, essential amino acids, fiber and many of B-complex vitamins. We source our Red Quinoa from the South American highlands where it was first cultivated. Red Quinoa has the same nutty flavor as golden quinoa, but stays slightly firmer when cooked.

BASIC PREP

Bring 2 cups of water or stock to a boil. Add 1 cup of quinoa, reduce heat to maintain a simmer, cover, and cook until the water is absorbed, about 12-15 minutes. Yields 3 cups cooked.
